One well. That’s all it takes.

Every day, women and children walk for hours to get water for their day, and that’s not even the hard part. The only water they can reach is full of water related diseases, which is a leading cause of disease and death around the world. Even for clean water, water scarcity can:

  • Limit access to education

  • Reduce women in the workplace

  • Increase assault rates

Wells Work is dedicated to improving access to clean water and making an impact for generations, and we need your help. Donate by June 13 in time for our next trip to Uganda.

When you give, you’re saving lives for people like Emilia. Emilia would spend three hours a day walking to get water. At fourteen years old, she had never been in a classroom. Because of the support from people like you, Wells Work was able to provide a well right in her village. Emilia was able to learn to read, and now reads to her children every night. One well changed her life. But millions are still walking hours for water, longing for clean water, education, and safety.

Change Lives for People Like Emilia

Wells Work has built 328 wells throughout Africa and Southeast Asia, but there is so much more to be done. Please, join the impact and donate by June 13 so we can build more wells on our next trip. Thank you for helping us save lives, one well at a time.

Save lives like Samuel’s with just one well.

Do you know the power of one well? Just one!

One well can give clean water, opportunity for an education, time to start a dream career. They just need one well…and you.

Donate in the next 24 hours in time for our trip to build wells in Uganda.

Samuel was feverish and keeling over in pain. He had typhoid fever…again. The water was contaminated, but it was his only option. Samuel was lucky to get treatment, but he was underweight, undernourished, and his future was grim. Thanks to generous donors, Wells Work was able to build a well right in his village, providing sustainable access to clean water. Samuel is now attending university and works at his favorite bakery on the weekends.

One well is all it takes to save a life, but we need your help. Your gift of $25 helps bring clean water and opportunities to rural communities in Uganda. The Wells Work team is packed and ready to go on a trip to build wells for people like Samuel.

<First Name>, we could use a hand!

There’s still time to support people like Meekah here in Uganda.
Body:

Hi <First Name>,

The sun is sizzling, but there’s a cool breeze that soothes us every few minutes. It’s as if it’s cheering us on, giving us a boost of courage to keep going. It’s been a big week at Wells Work as we set up camp here in Kitgam, Uganda. Every day, we take an hour bus ride to one of the nearby villages to build the first well of the trip. So far, it’s going as well as a well build can go!

I’m writing you today to let you know there’s still time to support our work on this trip. We not only build wells, but we also maintain and ensure the communities we touch aren’t left with unkept wells or unnecessary burdens. You can make a difference for people like Meekah.

Meekah is a mother of four and lives in a village we visited last summer. Over the past year, Meekah has not only entered the workforce, which has been a dream of hers since being a young girl, but all four of her children also know how to read and write. The glisten in her eye when she told our team about it was unlike I have ever seen before. Because of a well, because of you.

Please take a moment and donate a gift of any amount. You’re support provides clean water, opportunity for an education, time to start a dream career. You are supporting more than a well, but are saving lives and making generational impact.

Thank you for your support. It truly means so much, and we can’t thank you enough.

Well wishes,

Olivia
